When people ask me if I'm emo (since I dress scene), I look at them, smile, show them the underside of my wrists and say, "Look, no scars!" , smile again, and walk away.

Hey, at least this way, both parties get a little laugh out of it.

f

Nope, all the money I have goes towards school. Priorities, priorities...

f

MGS 3, the KOF series, The Warriors, God of War, and Bully, to name a few.

f

That's a biased question from the start. Of course, the "good girl" is Haruka. Throughout the whole series, she maintains an image of purity and innocence. On the other hand, Mitsuki is presented as being desperate and manipulative. There's absolutely no room for doubt.

I think a better question would be, "Should Takayuki have picked Haruka, or was he right in picking Mitsuki?"

f

I like to take a walk around campus (seeing as how my life is immersed in school), and just let my thoughts wander.

f

Ummm, "Pokemon Trainer" (from Pokemon), "Luke" (from the Japanese-only game MOTHER 3), and "Diddy Kong" (from the DK series) are all new additions.

Here's the link: http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/characters/index.html

You'll see them under the "New Characters" section. Enjoy, though I personally am not too enthusiastic about Diddy Kong and Pokemon Trainer.

f

I like Snake! In any case, I'm not too excited about an obscure "Pokemon Trainer" or Diddy Kong in the game, either.

f

I can name 30 people off my head who I can consider friends. And then I have two best friends I practically consider brothers.

f

Tekken 5 and DOA 4. Sorry, Soul Caliber fans, using weapons is WEAK!

f

I'm pretty sure you can find one via BT.

f

Ahh well, if you like a style, I say sport it. But at least sport it right. =p I agree with you when so-called "emo kids" claim to be non-conformist. I'm saying that as a scenester. How can you be non-conforming? You're basically CONFORMING with the NON-CONFORMISTS! Pwned.

f

Crowds are cool. Unless you get pickpocketed. or mugged. Either way, I can't identify with the majority of people on this thread that can't stand crowds. To put it in terms we can all understand, if you can't deal with crowds, how would you be able to enjoy yourself at an anime convention?

f

Yeah. I can name one right now: "Himawari!" Worst. Series. Ever.

f

I've teared up when watching KGNE, Air, and Kanon. Oh, and the Ichigo 100% manga made me feel overwhelmed with depression, because it was like saying goodbye to people you had grown to love (even if they aren't real), and also because Manaka picked Nishino and not Toujou. I would like to say while I didn't cry from the 3 aforementioned animes and 1 manga, I wasn't able to sleep soundly for a week after viewing/reading them. So typically, I avoid emotional series unless I feel like staying thinking about how certain things happened during the course of the series.

I haven't CRIED yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. I'm a sensitive guy.

I'm planning on hacking a PS2 I just got. It's in my hometown, and I'm not going to go down there until Friday. Planning to put a 250gb hard drive in it, and loading a bunch of games on it. Games I'm planning to play: KOF XI, MGS3, all the DDRs, and the most recent Beatmanias. But only on the weekends, of course.

Quote by jeanie727i don't like the feeling of loneliness to tell you the truth...i'm always surrounded by my family or friends..i never really felt truly lonely like what you were describing above.

QFT (Quoted For Truth)! I'm the same way.

f

Nope, I don't collect figurines. I consider a waste of money. I mean, they just sit there in there box. I understand that you're collecting them, but come on. Seriously. Then again, I was never into collecting things, or toys (I'm not calling figurines toys, I'm just saying), just videogames and tennis.

f

I have a question (I don't do any of those sports--I'm more of a tennis guy). Why EXACTLY do some skaters hate bladers? I seriously don't get it. I mean, I understand skaters hating on people with Heelys, but why rollerblading. Also, is rollerblading the same thing as aggressive inline skating? Thanks.

f

I love tennis, and to an extent, North American football (but if and only if the University of Texas Longhorns are playing. Hook 'Em, Baby!) I enjoy watching tennis, tricking, freerunning, and parkour. I just started gymnastics a week ago. =]

f

No, can't say I have. In any case, I prefer subs to dubs. Yes, you could consider me (to a point, mind you), one of those "OMG!11!1 The dub of <insert anime here> sucks compared to the subs! They shouldn't dub anime at ALL!11!"

f

They are the ideal picture (at least to some degree) of what we desire in a partner. Period. Or they're just cute.

f

School Days. Check the "Last School Days Episode" on the In-Depth Discussions forum section. My reason is posted in there.

f

I'd probably just change my skin color to a more pale color. I'm Viet so it's sort of a light tan. But it would be cool to have a different skin color. But wait! I can already solve that problem: Lots and lots of zinc oxide (sunblock)!

All things considered, I'd just change my height. I'm 5'4", but I would love to be 5'8"-5'10".

f

Smoking is gross. Period. I mean, it's okay with me if you don't mind your clothes smelling like crap, your teeth being yellow, your lungs becoming shriveled, your lungs filling with tar, or developing a hole in your neck over time. As you probably tell, I'm not a smoker.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not some sort of Holy Roller that will try to convert smokers. I'm friends with a number of smokers, each of whom have their own reasons for smoking. I treat smokers the same as non-smokers. However...Don't try pushing that crap on me (for some reason, some people tell me to smoke even though I tell them explicitly that I have and never will smoke).
